EnterpriseOne 64-bit migration – the time is NOW

Oracle's EnterpriseOne, sometimes called E1, is a business intelligence platform that helps executives make sense of their business. It was originally written as a 32-bit application and can run on both 32-bit and 64-bit Operating Systems. However, to gain maximum performance from your EnterpriseOne system, it is highly recommended to upgrade your entire operating system to 64-bit. 

Now that EnterpriseOne has been fully optimized for 64-bit applications, it can take advantage of the additional registers and memory that are available to a 64-bit application. This performance increase is especially evident in large relational data sets. 64-bit will eventually be a requirement for data intensive applications, database management systems, technical and scientific applications, and high-performance servers.
